I conduct psychological evaluations for immigration purposes. These evaluations can help individuals who are undergoing legal proceedings to stay in the United States for reasons related to oppression, abuse, and domestic violence. Psychological evaluations are guided by your petition to stay in the U.S. and can help strengthen your case. Clients are both self-referred and referred by their attorney. If you are working with an attorney, I will obtain a release of information so I that I can coordinate and discuss your case with your attorney.

The evaluation usually involves a 3-4 hour meeting and will occur over video-voice (due to the Covid-19 pandemic) or in-person in Madison, WI. I can work with an interpreter if requested. The evaluation includes: a clinical interview where I will ask you questions about your background, experiences specific to your case, and current living situation. For some, this can bring up difficult feelings, so we will always work at your pace and take great care as you talk about your experiences. The second part of the meeting involves completing a series of questionnaires that will evaluate mental health symptoms and determine any clinical diagnosis. Following our meeting, either the client or attorney will receive a final copy of the report typically within 3 weeks of the interview. If you require an interpreter please let me know at the time of scheduling so that I may make arrangement with contracted interpreter services.

Fee for these evaluations are $1200 for 3-4 hours of Evaluation. Individuals are charged an additional fee a.) if more time is required to complete their evaluation ($150 per additional hour) or b.) an interpreter is needed ($60 per hour).
